Amazing!!!!! Because of the religious Madonna festival and the horses (Sunday 18th of Augusts) we missed our pick up for the TooGoodToGo food. BUT the 2 ladies were very kind and gave us the food anyway. GRAZIE mille. They were kind and funny. We also got a couple of beers after the very hot and busy festival 3 hours standing up!! The beers were excellent value €2 each.

The food and staff at this bakery are 10/10! The cookies tasted just like my Italian grandmother’s, which I haven’t had since she passed away 🥹 and the pasta and focaccia were so tasty. The staff were super helpful in welcoming us to the city and answering questions we had

The best focaccia in Altamura. We stopped by Altamura for its bakeries and we were not disappointed. It was scorching hot and the owners were extremely welcoming. The focaccia is amazing. Salty, fluffy, crunchy, fresh. Amazing.

Food and service is excellent. Bread is amazing and we also had a local pasta that was delicious. Prices are very good (and we ordered a lot of food). Long opening hours too so they are open when other places aren't. If you are in or passing through Altamura make sure you stop here. They made us feel very welcome even with our limited Italian.
Was skeptical of the food laid out but the dishes were REALLY good. I would come back to Altamura for this bakery. Didn’t try their focaccia but their cold pasta and bread salad was stellar. Lovely people and service as well. No service charge! And cheap!

I had the pleasure of savoring the most exquisite parmigiana I have ever tasted, prepared with care and passion. And what could be better than enjoying such a delicious meal in a welcoming and warm atmosphere?
The service, although not a restaurant, was impeccable. The staff was quick, attentive, and extremely friendly, making my experience even more enjoyable and memorable.
The portions are generous and the quality of the dishes is simply exceptional. And I cannot fail to mention the excellent value for money.

This is how a delicious focaccia looks like! Very friendly place with pastry, bread, olive oil and more. Recommended stop after a visit to the cheese shop across the street.

I wish Google allows 10 stars. this is the Real deal. Fresh bread, pasta and everything else. But what makes this place special is the owner Lorenzo. He is super friendly helpful and his passion is visible in the food, you can taste it. Make sure to visit this place , taste their food and say hi Lorenzo

The staff dealt with our total lack of Italian language knowledge and helped us order some fantastic breasd/pizza slice things (sorry I don't know what they were called but they were amazing) and we were so impressed we ordered some pasta too that we saw other people eating.
Basically everything thr chef brought out the kitchen looked and smelled amazing, and it was at that point I decided to check the place out on Google and saw the masses of rave reviews... I gotta say I have to agree with them, this place is a gem. The owner and staff do a fantastic job and we loved our little stop, can highly recommend it if you ever visit this town. Thanks to thr chef and also the young feller who served us, Nic'!We passed by Altamura during our travels, and stopped by at this amazing bakery. We were welcomed by the lovely Michele, who was so friendly and kind to us. We purchased a Nutella Biscuit which was delicious! Keep up the great service - we highly recommend Cannito Bakery!
